Bill for fish and chips and drinks x 4 came to £80. The chips were flat, wrinkly and may well have been kept warm for some time. I wonder if traditional chippy chips aren 't a bit archaic in this day and age when even a modest eatery boasts triple cooked chips , which at least have some substance and shape. Not much of a fan of fish and chipsBut when in U.K., it is a must. And this is an excellent place to visit, and at lunch they have a terrific offer.
Amazing place! I visit this restaurant and takeaway all the time for both purposesIt is one of the best chip shops and restaurants in Dorset.
Good service, a little pricey for the portion size but fish was cooked well. Have visited once before and is a good stop on way from Dorset back to London
The food was excellent. Parking is not a problem. We asked our waitress if we could be served asap as people in our party had a limited time. She was reluctant but eventually took our order. What I do have trouble with is the restaurant adding a service charge. I will determine whether I leave a tip.
