Only two servers.waited forever for drinks. Waited longer for food. When food got there it was cold. Not everyone got their food at the same time. Band was too loud. Server was friendly but service was deplorable View all feedback.
I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is calming and quaint. The food is always outstanding and the chef is just wonderful. It is a great place to listen to jazz on a Friday night. I haven't had a meal yet I didn't love. So far my favorite has been the jerk chicken.
I had the fried plantain appetizer and the vegetarian sampler plate. Both were delicious. Each of the lentil dishes had their own distinct flavor. The collards, cabbage and salad were refreshing and a great palate cleanser for the lentils. I have both a dairy and gluten allergy. They were willing to make everything dairy free, AND they served me gluten free injera! It was fantastic. What a pleasure to be able to enjoy Ethiopian food in the right way. What a great gesture from a very good restaurant.
Myself and two of my sista friends dined at Mesob Sunday night (July 29th; it was their first experience and my second...it proved to be just as memorable as the first! Talk about an explosion of spices, textures and flavor...the Chef nailed it! And the young lady that served us was awesome: !
