I hate that it’s only open on the weekends because you can’t find better carnitas than Pepe’s anywhere !
This should be served everywhere. Best torta I had in my life! The buche and cuero in the carnitas make the torta unforgettable. I'm from Michigan and when I leave I always go home with 6 pounds and 12 tamal and all the fixings. Best carnitas are made by chefs from Michoacan
Super busy. But the food is delicious don't be stingy get the beans and rice. Also, and some caldo to sip on while you drive.
Moving from LA to Kansas I know carnitas. This place does not disappoint very good just a bit expensive.
Best believe I’m coming back! tried their tamales rojos, probably the happiest bite I’ve taken in a long time
