We have frequented J.Rieger several times, and when we have family/friends in town this is a must to take them. All the reviews noted are pretty accurate. My 5 stars is due to the way we were treated in the Monogram Lounge in 12/30/23. We were celebrating with family and the manager Susan and ALL of the staff were amazing! I wish I had more to say about my experience, unfortunately I did not get to experience anything because the staff was extremely rude and our reservation was not honored. This is especially sad because we were excited to try the whiskey since we were visiting from out of town. I do not recommend this place whatsoever! A little bit off the beaten path, but certainly a KC gem. Super unique and historical building. A group of us took the distillery tour which was really interesting and included a tasting of different Rieger spirits, all of which were incredible. If you're looking for high quality, affordable, local liquor then look no further. Also, Electric Park is just a great place to hang out, especially on days with nicer weather.
This place is so great! We celebrated one of my daughter's birthday here. The food, drinks and atmosphere are so cool. The staff is great as well! We will definitely go back.
Had a lovely experience without tour guide Amelia! She came off as incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the brewery! I definitely would recommend to people to check it out thanks to our great tour!
I attended the Heritage Tour with Connor, who was well-versed in the history and evolution of Rieger. He was very personable and elevated the tour beyond the expected. I'd highly recommend attending the tour and enjoying the tasting.
Delicious whiskey the one on the left it's name is Monogram and the company only make 3000 yearly this month (June) and get sold very fast.
