Tibetan Momo - Ithaca
Tibetan Momo
Description
Tucked into Center Ithaca, this hidden gem is a favorite for dumpling lovers, serving excellent momos, flavorful fried rice and a warm, attentive staff that nudges patrons to try new dishes. It's a dependable lunch spot with a welcoming owner and casual charm, though some guests mention occasional cleanliness concerns and uneven dishes. Note: the menu excludes meat, eggs and seafood, making it a predominantly vegetarian-friendly choice.

The food was greasy and lacked flavor, and the prices were not updated. As a result, I ended up paying more than I anticipated.
This restaurant does not cook or sell any meat, eggs, chicken, or fish. I urge you to make your menu vegetarian, as it promotes compassion and respect for all living beings. Consuming the flesh of our fellow Earth inhabitants can lead to negative consequences. The Dalai Lama teaches us to avoid supporting the killing of animals for food. Consider using tofu as a delicious alternative.
I was really hungry and had no other options, so I decided to order chicken lo mein from this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not good at all, and the place seemed unclean. I didn't try any other dishes, but if you're looking for good lo mein, I wouldn't recommend this place.
Of all the places to eat in Ithaca, this is my favorite. Hands down. It’s a hidden gem and if you haven’t gone, you’ve truly missed out. Dumplings are excellent, as is everything I’ve tried thus far.
