My gluten/free, vegan waffle was great. I was able to choose my own toppings. I had one sweet waffle with strawberries, coconut, walnuts, and maple syrup, and another waffle with a black bean burger and vegan cheese. Both were excellent. My friend (who is vegetarian but not vegan and definitely not GF) had a normal wheat waffle with strawberries, dairy whipped cream, and nutella, and said hers was great too. Sure to be a hit with families, tourists, and students alike.

Delicious vegan waffles with lots of options for toppings. Looked like a good portion of the menu could be made vegan. Coffee was great too.

There are some decent vegan options, and who doesn’t love a waffle?

Very popular spot for students. Atmosphere is a bit like a cafeteria that 's holding a special weekend brunch. You order at the counter and wait for your name to be yelled out. Coffees are made on their own schedule don 't expect to get them at the same time as your food, or for multiple coffees to be ready at once. The vegan waffle is thick, soft yet chewy and has a good flavour. I enjoyed the apple butter and compote of the day (as toppings). The waffle dog is smaller than we expected (though wasn 't really sure what to expect). More a decent sized snack than a meal.

The vegan waffles are very good but I was not a fan of the vegan ice cream we ordered with it. More icy than creamy. We also had the vegan waffle dogs, which were sort of like a corn dog and served with a very tasty maple mustard. My husband had a vegan Mediterranean grilled cheese w/ spinach and olives) which he liked. They use Daiya and I'm not a fan so I didn't try it. It was small and a little expensive considering you don't even get a pickle or chips with it $7). I paid with a credit card and they leave a space on the receipt for gratuity, which always makes me uncomfortable when I leave it blank, but c'mon. You order at the counter, walk upstairs, they call you when your food is ready and you come back down to get it, then go back upstairs to eat and you bus your own table. What am I supposed to leave a tip for? Anyway, the food was good and if you're vegan and a fan of waffles you will enjoy it.
