Fusia Bento - Ithaca
Fusia Bento
Description
Fusia Bento Bar, nestled in the heart of College Town, offers a mixed bag of experiences. While generous portions and a late-night vegetarian menu are highlights, the quality of food often fails to impress. Many dishes, particularly Japanese offerings like ramen and teriyaki, have garnered criticism for lacking flavor, leading to disappointing meals. While some appreciate the value and accommodating service, others have reported serious stomach issues post-meal. Despite the charming ambiance and decent pricing compared to peers, slow service and inconsistent quality may deter diners seeking a satisfying culinary experience amid Ithaca’s vibrant scene.

I have been ordering from this restaurant, and I really enjoy the food and staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Overall, I am very pleased with everything here.
Located in a college town, this restaurant may not exceed your expectations, but it delivers decent value for your money. The portions are generous, and they are willing to make modifications, a big plus for me as a Vegan. The only downside is the slow service. Despite text alerts always indicating a 45-minute wait, orders are rarely ready on time. I once waited over an hour in-store for soup. However, considering it's not a fine dining establishment, it's still worth your money. In terms of vegetarian options, they offer a standard selection found at most Asian cuisine restaurants, but they are very accommodating to special requests.
I have been told by MULTIPLE friends that they have gotten EXTREME stomach problems after eating here. I went here a few weeks ago and got major stomach complications (salmonella?? I never usually have bad symptoms to food, so this tells me something about the quality of food they are serving. Disgusting quality.
