What else could you ask? the same restaurant has two sites, one at the airport and the other at the recreation complex. we no longer have to go to the airport for lunch, as we can order your delicious menu in the city (woohoo, bonus! one of my favourites is their clubhouse sandwich. did I mention that they made great burgers? make sure to check them if they want a nice lunch or dinner.

I have been through more t... read more This place has the best greasy spoon dishes you can find in Inuvik it is almost worth the cab ride to the airport just for the meals. I have been through more times than I should and always brought back a bag of 747 burgers for the family. It is comfort food to arrive at home after along day of travel and get a meal flown home from 500km away. With that distance of travel they have repeatedly allowed me to get my fires in a paper bag, so they do not get soggy on the journey, and are easily reheated at home. They use to serve a very awesome Musk-ox Burger hopefully a go-fund-me, or a petition, can be done to get this back on the menu. From a person born and raised on muskox no other place makes it like they do. This place is a icon of Inuvik and if you do not go here you will miss out on a cornerstone of food in the region.

Despite google stating the restaurant is open it’s been closed for 6-8 weeks for sure.
