I ate a fish taco (battered white fish with chipotle sauce a... read more This is my second time coming to Inuvik for work, and I finally made it to Alestine's this evening. I ate a fish taco (battered white fish with chipotle sauce and fresh mango coleslaw), along with a poutine and a soda pop. Oh my goodness, it was an amazing taco, very tasty and fresh!! The fries were also homemade. The food definitely had a homemade taste to it. The ambiance was very casual and welcoming, and the service very friendly and quick. You can also choose to had it to go, or eat on site, which includes table service. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely a must see and eating spot !!!

This small local restaurant has a focused menu with food that so far has been unmatched in Inuvik. There was 8 of us in our group and several different items were ordered from the menu. There were no complaints and we shared a couple of deserts that a perfect end to the meal. Enjoy!
