**A Quick Stop with Mixed Reviews: Discovering Northern Convenience** Nestled along the route to Tuktoyaktuk and the Arctic Circle, this one-stop shop offers a surprising mix of convenience and fast food, featuring Pizza Hut and KFC Express. While the fast food doesn't always hit the mark for authenticity and quality, diners appreciate the generous portions at competitive prices. The well-organized store provides an extensive selection, from groceries to clothing, making it a reliable pit stop for travelers. Despite some inconsistent service and occasional food quality issues, the friendly staff and operational convenience during holidays make this spot a noteworthy choice for locals and visitors alike.

Was User at Kfc a mag?
This delightful little restaurant is amazing! They serve tasty food at great prices, particularly considering its northern location. It's an ideal option for a quick lunch! View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Kfc:
The taste doesn't remind me of authentic KFC. Occasionally, they serve frozen fries from a bag, and the gravy definitely doesn't resemble KFC's signature recipe! View all feedback.

I used to work there, and they sometimes cook rats just for fun, then use the same deep fryer for other food!

I honestly wouldn't recommend it. To be fair, its remote location makes it unlikely that the food would be good.

Twice I've gotten meat that was bad. Canada should switch to an expired date on food instead of a best before date... We in the north suffer from poor service and zero quality control.

Within the past year, I've seen a mouse running around the fruit section. The ceiling tends to drip water into to dry good section of the store when it rains. It's OK though they put buckets down to catch it. There's about 4 layers of floor so it's wavy in some places and some holes. Granted the building is VERY old, but I feel like they could invest a little more into their upkeep given the building is in the center of town.
