What Hilbert Ullrich likes about L&L Drive-Inn:
I heard about the Rainbow Drive-Ins in the late 80s and lived it when we had it in 87. They have only become more popular since then. Good cheap food. The meat options are excellent, including ground beef patty, Linguica, and my personal favorite, spam. I also have to get a macaroni salad. View all feedback.

read moreRainbow Drive-Ins has been a beloved spot since the late 80s, and for good reason. This hidden gem offers good and cheap food that has only gained popularity over the years. With excellent meat options like ground beef patty, Linguica, and spam, along with must-try macaroni salad, the food here is a true culinary delight. The Loco moco is a standout dish, featuring crispy fried egg, grilled burger patty, and fluffy white rice smothered in aromatic gravy alongside creamy macaroni salad. The location, just a short walk from Waikiki Beach, offers a convenient and picturesque setting to enjoy the delicious food. The mixed plate order is highly recommended, providing big portions at an affordable price. Though there may be a wait, the overall experience at Rainbow Drive-Ins is worth it. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place is a must-visit for a taste of authentic Hawaiian cuisine.
