I just w... read more Fast update: on Monday to lunch and the line via the door! but fortunately they had no line for their baked and all I needed were a few boxes of baked! I just wanted to add some more photos that show all their delicious cakes and other baked were! they also open their 5th position in pearl city! So I also have to check this (see that they have a tonne inside there!

They have a huge variety of pastries and baked goods, but they're famously known for their coco puffs. Along with our coco puffs, we also ordered a banana cream pie and a fruit tart. The banana cream pie was deliciously light and not too sweet. They put a lot of bananas and the custard was tasty. It was also topped with the perfect amount of whipped cream. Between that and the fruit tart, the banana cream pie was my favorite. Their coco puffs are heavenly! They have the perfect amount of filling to them yet they're light and airy. The green tea puff, coco puff, and the chocolate cream puffs were my favorite. You can taste the matcha in the green tea puff, it was that strong! The chocolate cream puff was super good too. The filling was creamy and paired perfectly with the chocolate topping. I have no shame for finishing our entire half dozen order of coco puffs.

I tried several other desserts and all were good ranging from pastries, cakes, muffins, and breads. The one thing I'll recommend is the cinnamon butter mochi cake. A delicious cross between buttered mochi and cinnamon coffee cake. Prices are fair and parking is free.

We were all exhausted and jet lagged, having Hawaiian comfort food was perfect that first night. We had a variety of dishesbetween us, we tried each other?s meals and the vote for the best was for the teriyaki chicken, fried rice and these butterrolls with some pink dipping sauce. It was tasty. We bought pastries to go before we left as well. The kids loved the cupcakes,the danish were so good, the apricot especially. The scones were yummy too. I don?t think you could have gone wrong with any ofthe baked goods.

And it's still true all these years later!! The counter girls, Juliet and Janet, were friendly and very service oriented! I always willrecommend Liliha Bakery as a good place to eat! Especially the original location! We are so excited they'll be opening anotherlocation in Pearl City in July of this year!
