a scenic stone bridge that was involved in Scottish military history. beautiful view of the hills of river, forest and perthshire from both sides of the bridge. but you have to stay awake when you go over her. it is a rather busy road bridge without footpaths, but there are small savings in the parapets where they go out of the way of traffic. What Kalendros doesn't like about White Bridge:
My Sunday roast was a narrow slice of rare beef in a soup plate pool of watery gravy, sitting on tenderstem brocolli. For me, the brocolli was the best thing about the meal. The expected accompanying root veg, that is, what there was of them, were three small pieces of potato sitting in the gravy and a small portion of julienned carrot turnip. I saw this online and it looked very cool and the food looked amazing. We arrived, in the middle of nowhere. I questioned going in. But my nephew assured me if it wasn’t the same place we could leave. OH.MY.GOD. It was the same place. This is an absolute case of do NOT judge a book by its cover. The inside is SOOOOO cool. The staff are amazing. The food portions are huge… and absolutely sublime. There are games to play. 100% cannot recommend this place highly enough. Worth the detour.
Just had our second meal this week at this lovely Highland hostelry. The food was excellent, service exceptional. Quirky decor. If ever in the area or planning to visit best to book ahead since we were lucky to book a table.
We stayed for 2 nights DB&B with friends. Very impressed overall with the friendliness of staff, high quality food,cleanliness. Loved this quirky hotel ….we will definitely be back.

This is a great find. Quint, food terrific. The service was excellent. The staff were very helpful. Beautiful drive from Fort Augustus. If are visiting Loch Ness make sure you visit this restaurant.
