Contribute FeedbackNestled in a vibrant area, the restaurant offers a mixed dining experience that appeals to families and those seeking vegan options. While many dishes are described as tasty and affordable, some patrons expressed disappointment with inconsistent service and execution. Complaints included overcooked steaks, lackluster Yorkshire puddings, and skimpy portions in the Sunday carvery. The atmosphere can be marred by noise, yet the staff's friendliness often shines through. Highlighted positively are the dedicated vegan menu items, including burgers and fish and chips, which have garnered praise for their flavor. Overall, the restaurant holds potential but requires improvements in consistency and service.
Had to wait a wee while to be attended to on arrival but once we were taken to our seat our server Chelsea provided great service. Our meals were great and we will definitely be back.
Honestly don't know what the negative reviewers were going on about . Went with my partner and our child , was amazing food and great service. Staff were polite and the environment was nice and welcoming.
Normally lovely but certainly not tonight. Steak overcooked and dry. The level of noise between a pool/snooker table positioned right beside our table plus dogs barking! Normally food is good and atmosphere lovely, certainly not the case this evening unfortunately.
Took over 40 mins for mains to arrive. Main meals basic but tasty, first choice of 2 desserts were not available and alternatives were very disappointing. Service throughout was awful, restaurant quiet but waitresses more interested in chatting at the bar. Would have bought more if anyone had approached out table. Lack of service (for the second time) enough to put me off going back again.
The Three Witches was accidentally found by my mum and myself, but has now become our favourite place for food or just a nice glass of wine. Every time we go, we are met with such a warm welcome by all the staff and a nice table is always found for us (well I think we actually have ‘our’ table now). The food has always been delicious. Whether it has been nibbles over wine, a lovely meal, a Sunday carvery or a special occasion ie. Christmas Day festive meal …. and New Years Day! Always plenty, always hot and always tasty. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and it is ideal for any occasion. All at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend the Three Witches.
