My meal arrived within 30 minutes after ordering and making payment, made charity donations and gave books and music to help with funding for their defribillator. Excellent soup, bread and tea

Haven’t been for a while, but on a cold rainy day we remembered the roaring fires that they have in the snug so decided to go. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely meal, enjoyed a few drinks in a friendly atmosphere and had a really lovely afternoon out. Friendly staff, good food, dogs welcome, lovely scenery.

The food and beer were decent. However, the restaurant is in need of a makeover as it is looking tired and in desperate need of an update.
