Lively atmosphere, started getting busy from 7pm onwards. The mixed starter was delicious. Tasty old school madras. Found it on Tripadvisor website before we set off from Newcastle. Clean toilets. Great evening.

The service was very efficient, and we enjoyed poppadums while deciding on our main courses. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the pickle selection - the onion dips were bland and the mango chutney was too chunky and dry. We're not fans of lime pickle either. However, our main dishes, which included lamb and chicken options, were superb. Our favorite was the chicken with apricots.
