This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. The Bermudian swordfish is my personal favorite, but I always end up trying a lot of other dishes as well. The lobster ragout, stuffed squid, lobster ravioli, and even the surf and turf are all fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the desserts. Shelley and Annie are also great bartenders! I had an outstanding dinner at Ron's last week! Our group of four each ordered different dishes: salmon, blackened swordfish, a seafood platter, and steak tips with lobster.
We had a fantastic lunch at Ron's today, and the staff was incredibly friendly! While we were in Hampton searching for some seafood on a Sunday, we found that most places were closed. We decided to stop by...
It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to approach us, but once he did, he was very friendly. I spent around $30 on a filet, which was a bit chewy and...
For the main course, I tried the Scallop Hummer Crepes, which featured wild mushrooms, asparagus, and Boursin cheese. The aromas were perfectly balanced and enhanced each other. The dish was served over a rich brown butter sauce and topped with roasted pine nuts. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I can say that this dish was PHENOMENAL—there’s nothing I would have changed! I also ordered the Stoli Doli martini, made with pineapple-infused vodka. Although it was garnished with an orange rather than pineapple as claimed on the menu, it was still delicious and quite strong for just $10. My mother opted for the stuffed squid, which was good, but the seafood stuffing was even better, topped with a delightful sherry cream sauce (though a touch more sauce would have made it perfect). The dish was served alongside garlic whipped rice, which was beautifully browned, creamy, and flavorful. Getting seated was easy, thanks to our attentive waiter, Justin, who was both personable and offered great recommendations. I only wish this restaurant could be relocated to Connecticut where I live! I nearly called the chef over to thank him personally for his culinary masterpiece. Just a heads up, all parking in the restaurant's lot is valet. If that's not your style, there’s also metered general parking available. The lighter menu options are plenty satisfying (and reasonably priced!), especially when you include an appetizer and a drink; we were so full that we regrettably didn’t have room for dessert! For those lucky enough to live near this beach town, the restaurant also has a frequent diner program: they’ll keep track of your spending, and after you reach $500, you’ll receive a $50 gift certificate.
Frito Misto... Yes! Seafood platter with maple servings of Haddock, Scallops, whole Belly Clams (I substitute shrimp for the clams). Great breading very tasty! Never disappointed! Eat down stair for a more intimate dining experience or upstairs near the bar for a more casual atmosphere! Love Ron's Landing.
