Description

**Cascade Café: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**

Cascade Café, once a beloved dining spot, has undergone notable changes, leading to divided opinions among recent visitors. While some patrons reminisce about delightful meals and fantastic service, others express disappointment over lackluster, overpriced dishes and prolonged wait times. The seafood, such as the lobster pie, has drawn particular criticism for its lack of freshness, while poorly executed burgers and frozen sides have left diners unsatisfied. Notably, the ambiance and live music were appreciated, but the overall experience fell short of expectations, suggesting potential diners consider alternatives until improvements are made.

Great breakfast spot right on the beach food and portions and service were perfect! My kids enjoyed very much, too!

Had the lobster pie. It was not fresh, tasted like it was frozen and thawed or the lobster was soaked in water and they tried to disguise it with lemon juice. The fries and rice were good. Would not eat here again. Live music was entertaining and our server was good.

We finally decided to try this place for the view. It's not much of one. Had the burger and it was overcooked ordered it medium well but came well done. The fries are the horrible coated ones. Onion rings were frozen with little onion taste. Disappointed for sure.

I had a well-prepared, juicy burger that was cooked to order. It had the flavor of ground sirloin and was served on an excellent fresh bun—definitely a solid 4-star burger for a beach spot! Today, I'm trying breakfast! For part two, I ordered an omelette with salsa and peppers, accompanied by home fries and rye toast. It was an excellent breakfast for just $8. The toast was marbled rye, super fresh, and possibly the best bread I've had in the last two months! Once again, I’d rate this a solid four stars for beach dining!

I think I have the right restaurant, but please correct me if I'm wrong. You do have to climb some stairs to get there. We chose to sit outside, which was lovely. My dad is diabetic, and since it was breakfast, we wanted to eat before heading to the beach. We both ordered the "papa toast" or something similar, which consisted of two pieces of French toast with an egg in the middle, and we opted for the home fries as our side. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed both the service and the meal.
