The food is very good and we were served lovingly and courteously throughout our stay in the restaurant. Thank you very much.

We loved the majority of the dishes on the tasting menu, but we felt that the desserts threw off the balance of the meal. Despite the delicious pre-dessert of pine sorbet, we were overwhelmed by the abundance of chocolate desserts that followed, which made the end of the meal too heavy on chocolate and distracted from the other flavors we had enjoyed earlier. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful evening and look forward to returning to sample more of the chef's unique creations.

My only constructive feedback is that having paid £300 per head for the 6 course tasting menu, all six of us left hungry. The portions are miniscule. The starters and mains should be doubled in size.
