I don't know if it's good or bad that the fuchs in shoreditch is a very good place to eat. on the one hand eating is done, the service sprightly and friendly, and the atmosphere is pubby and informative. on the other side I just work out View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Fox:
Thank you for ruining my birthday. we never had so bad service in my life after we had booked this place beacuse of their varied menus (we had a few food allergies, veggies etc.) we had a set menu of 3 choices starter, 3 choices postponed main before us and were told that there was a complete menu in the rule, but because of the private party below we were not waiting for 2 View all feedback.

The service in the garden area was non-existent. I ordered a bottle of Primitivo red wine, duck and orange as a starter, a 10 oz ribeye steak, and dessert. After waiting for 20 minutes for a waitress, I went inside the bar where the bartender informed me that I needed to order everything from my phone and pick it up myself at the bar because there was no staff available. This was a very disappointing experience.
Best steak I've had in years will definitely be back staff could not help you more well doneif you are in the area make it worth a visit
We had a disappointing lunch experience at this restaurant. The servers did not seem interested when we arrived, and although most of our food arrived promptly after we ordered, the burger we had asked for did not. The server accused us of lying about ordering it, but we were not even charged for the burger on the bill. The rest of the food was average and uninspired, and given the lackluster quality, we were not too disappointed about not receiving the burger. The food was generic and overpriced, so unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place.
The restaurant has a fantastic menu, atmosphere, and staff! I highly recommend it. The space is great too. They went out of their way to accommodate our group.
Tried this place as they offer Korean Fried Chicken which is dairy gluten free. Arrived to a busy pub, looked ok, but no one eating. When ordering at the bar, the staff seemed disinterested. Found a table upstairs. The food arrived about 20mins later. We had ordered the thighs (2) wings. Imagine a frozen KFC, over cooked, then reheated and then all flavour removed you have an idea of how this chicken tasted. Really poor. Will not return.

The Fox is a very lively bar and definitely recommended. A few decent beers and bottles too, though I was slightly disappointed they didn't have any quality craft stouts, but that's probably me being fuzzy The red rice ale (Japanese) I had I would certainly recommend. Lovely body and flavour.
Recently re-done and not wot it once woz alas. £8 for a cider coke. It may be Brexit inflation, but seems a tad ridiculous. And when paying over the odds, you also expect the staff to be a little more friendly and not sneer in annoyance, when they don 't both to properly take your drinks order. I am being generous with 3 stars given my experience, but I suppose the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and i won 't be rushing back to this local any time soon.
A nice pub, but watch that they add 5% service charge to every order, and at over £6 a pint that's 30p extra to pour a drink!
The Fox is a lovely venue, Trad London street corner pub belting out music, lovely clean and inviting. Unfortunately, had to lose a star as no cask on offer from the three available pumps. Also food not on offer at the moment, usually there is! Still a lovely pint and hopefully all will be up and running soon.

The Fox Shoreditch Attractive brown tiled corner pub with a warm glow from the street. A cut above most other pubs locally indoors, with plenty of plants and low key quality matching furniture. Even the lights and windows are appealing to the eye. Not too exciting for an otherwise classy venue Camden, Staropramen, Beavertown, San Miguel etc. Could be better. The Fox is a Monday Friday pub, unusual in this area. My view I'm glad to have finally made it in here after years of trying. It's upmarket, warm and visually enjoyable. A well done pub which just needs a couple more experimental pints and it could achieve greatness.
I had the fried chicken legs and potato saucers. the food was hot and delicious. were huge. I could eat the half. really delicious gluten-free scrub.
Absolutely beautiful pub, the interior is great. Staff are friendly, there’s a lovely terrace upstairs. The only downfall was the food being a bit too salty. Will visit again, probably for drinks only :
