the one really good thing about aquila, apart from being close to my accommodation, is the 10% student discount they offer on all items, without a minimum price. I love their sandwiches and the red velvet is really amazing. it can add a little more vegetarian options to its menu (without thunfish.) otherwise I would recommend this place to all! I recently dined at a restaurant in Sudbury, Suffolk and was incredibly impressed with the food. As a Head Chef myself, I can confidently say that the dishes were amazing. Despite being very busy, the staff still managed to make me feel very welcome.
I ordered the builder's breakfast and I must say, I was overwhelmed by the portion size. I could barely finish half of it! The serving size was huge. I was very satisfied with my meal and would definitely return to this restaurant.
My son and I stopped by for breakfast this morning before a hospital appointment. The food was delicious and we received a warm welcome from the staff. I highly recommend this place!

We visit here yesterday, there was nine of us for breakfast, the service was brilliant, the food was of a very good standard, staff very friendly cafe very clean, in all very good indeed thankyou.
I had a builder breakfast and to say I tried to eat half of it is an understatement. they server a lot. very happy would visit again. personal friendly. dear, dear, dear. all recommend

This cafe is amazing. Great service, great food, very friendly and you not find a better cup or tea in London. What I imagine a typical, friendly East End cafe to be. Will definitely visit next time I am in London.
