I love the vibe that this place has...the decor inside is fun and eclectic. They do the best flatbreads, freshly made and stuffed with gorgeous things, they sold out of their smoothies but I'm a coffee fan so a large cup of coffee hit the spot.
Like Pitfield, really like the vube, ambiance and decor. Just a nice cafe fir a bite yo eat. As others have said, this isn't the cheapest place but all told tge food and coffee were good.
Pitfield London is coffee shop located on Pitfield Street close to Old Street offering coffee, cakes, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads in a relaxed quirky environment. Pitfield offers 30 minute free WiFi is you ask the cashier for an access voucher. Pitfield features a retail area which serves as a shop selling very particular furniture, plants and decorations. Pitfield's strongest offering is its location and staff. While the service is not stellar it is always delivered with a warm smile and accommodating flair for customers choosing to eat-in. Its location attracts the work lunch crowd as well as locals and tourists in the area. I myself visit before heading into work as it serves as a good alternative to the chain coffee shops in the area. Pitfield's food and beverage offering is both, hit miss and on the expensive side. For example the porridge is dry and resembles concrete mix, while the avocado and toast not bad at all. My experience has varied significantly between times I have eat-in and chosen take-away. While the portions of their salad box is ridiculously small, the most consistent item in their menu is the flatbreads. The coffee is okay and consistent. I would highly recommend it for individuals in the area seeking a large relaxed placed for a meeting or a quick catchup. My suggestion for food and coffee would be to walk further down either Pitfield Street or to Hoxton Square as there are a variety of other places offering better food at better prices within the area.
The place looked very nice from outside and the staff friendly. However, there unfortunately isn't much nice things to say about this place. The service was catastrophic (getting asked for your order 4 times and still getting it wrong isn't usual, getting orange in your smoothie when the one you ordered didn't have any, etc. . The food was good but the value for money wasn't there. It was expensive compared to other places where we ate that were as pricy but delicious. Overall, I think that the manager (at least I think she was was full of good intentions. But the service didn't follow through nor did the food. Hope to see this place get better for the next time I come by!
Nestled in the vibrant Shoreditch area, Pitfield Café offers an eclectic, quirky atmosphere that entices visitors with its inviting decor and varied menu. While some patrons appreciate the delicious offerings like smoked salmon baguettes and exquisite flatbreads, others have reported inconsistencies in service quality and food temperature. The café often grapples with a lack of attentive service, leading to misorders and cold dishes. Despite these shortcomings, many are hopeful for improvements and appreciate the charming environment. With a potential for growth, Pitfield Café remains a spot to watch, blending shopping and dining in a unique setting.

Warmed up milk. Would not recommend. Expensive for such terrible service and coffee. Kitchen was also closed.
The staff were not friendly or happy. The coffee was undrinkable, like warmed up milk we left ours unfinished. Two other customers also complained to staff about the coffee quality during our visit.
Maybe I was there on a bad day, but I experienced surly counter staff, poor service, average food, small portions, and prices charged at the till didn't match prices on the blackboard behind the counter. I shan't be going again.
The staff weren't capable of handling customers on the weekend at all. Been waiting in line for ordering forever and the staff kept ignoring the customers in line and they were just too busy. The portion was large but somehow all four of us felt I'll after consuming the food. Question the food hygiene there.
Just popped into Pitfield for my first visit .Lovely varied menu and good prices for Old Street area. Friendly welcoming staff. My Poached eggs with avocado and smoked salmon was delicious. Nice touch having tea served in cup with tea pot rather than mug..Nice chilled atmosphere with quirky interior..I will be back .

Had a great need for caffeine and decided to come to the nearby pitfield cafe. pitfield lets them feel as if they enter a small garden, a shower with black green and bright floral colors. the atmosphere is very feminine and filled with light, so that they feel immediately at home at a place where warm and comfort. the latte was beautiful. nothing outstanding, in contrast to the beautiful decor, but it did the trick. I feel like the atmosphere is more likely to bring me back than the coffee itself!

I was just disappointed by the tee. it was not better than her average supermarkettee, but significantly more expensive I was not particularly impressed by the staff...more
