Reviews summary
This restaurant offers a mixed experience, with some diners loving the burgers and desserts while others found the food to be awful. The service was friendly and attentive, but some customers experienced long wait times. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable for those who could secure a table. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential, particularly for vegans looking for affordable options. Its location near a popular gig venue adds to its appeal for those looking to grab a meal before a show.
Was Anonym at Oslo a mag?
During our stay in Hackney, visiting from Australia, we were drawn to this restaurant by its impressive front appearance. The service we received from our waitress was outstanding; she seemed to manage everything effortlessly. The meatballs were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this venue! View all feedback.
What hotdrop dislikes about Oslo:
I went to use the restroom before ordering my food and was overwhelmed by the terrible smell. If the cleanliness of the restrooms is any indication of the quality of the food, I decided not to take my chances and left the restaurant. View all feedback.

This restaurant is really lovely. My husband and I ordered the roast lamb with all the sides. The plate was filled with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cabbage, turnip, and more. We enjoyed every bite and paired it with some wine. The service was great, and we will definitely return.
I stopped by here yesterday afternoon, attracted by the 50% February deal that seemed like a good value. The restaurant was nearly empty, but I didn't let that deter me. Unfortunately, the Oslo Burger I ordered was bland. It seemed like the meat, which was a good size, was simply fried without any seasoning like salt, pepper, or onions, and then placed in a nicely garnished bun. Despite the mayonnaise, tomatoes, and cheese, it was unable to compensate for a poorly cooked burger. It's a pity.

Modern ambience in a former railways station. Lenu is quite British. I had a very good shepperd s pie and a pint of cider. Seems to be also a great palce at night!
The new head chef has clearly spend lots of time thinking about the new menu and it is delicious. The veg burger was tasty and the chips were just the right balance of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Well worth a visit and the service was welcoming and very efficient with the right balance of attendance.

Pleasantly relaxed mood, cool amount and good djs after 10th definitiw one of the best places in hackney.
The staff here is excellent, and the service is top-notch—everyone is very friendly. I especially want to highlight the new woman at the bar on Thursday evening; she was incredibly friendly and polite. The cocktails are fantastic as well. Thank you!
First time I'd been here and I would definitely go back! Originally just planned to go to the Boy Kill Boy gig on 25th November but after looking at the food menu online we decided to book a table downstairs beforehand. All of the staff were excellent security, bar, waiting and so was the food. I had a steak and my mate had an Oslo burger both were delicious. Afterwards, we went upstairs for the gig. Again, all the staff were excellent security, entry, bar. Even though it was pretty busy, we got served quickly at the bar and they served Thatchers Gold! To top it off, Boy Kill Boy were brilliant hopefully won't be their last ever gig.....
Great dining experience on the ground floor with a lively atmosphere, and then a spacious area upstairs.
Great venue never been there before. I was a little hard to find even when ?I was standing outside looking! Good size room with a stage that you can see from anywhere. I LIKES IT!
