This is a local bar for us, Just up the road for our house and its a cool bar! Very friendly staff and and great place to go into, the beer was not as cold as it should have been so the barman asked if...i wanted to try another beer, i did and it was great so he swapped them over, no hassle, no fuss, all with a smile. Full to the brim of interesting things on the walls. Good all round. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Hunter S:
on Sunday we fry with my wife and her parents. the roasts seemed okay if not spectacular. but my mother-in-law and I were both sick in the night forcibly. that day I had eaten nothing more. I'm not sure what they're betraying, but the food safety practices in the kitchen must be tested. View all feedback.

Did you have the plumsters on a brat? especially when everything else, including the Yorkshire puddings, was overcooked. only no. the complete lack of distancing and the rude staff comes in. we will not be back.
I don't even know where to start. the personal was exceptionally friendly and competent (especially the Brunette waitress on the white top [on 01-Sep-2020) and it made our jubilee dinner even more special than it was already. the atmosphere and the decor were absolutely excellent. very. different from where I was before (and I have lived in east london for a few years, and I am so sick of which we are different to be for the different so that we only serve sweet potatoes and if they don't wear a hat inside we don't go to serve them vibe), but they managed to balance the old classic English pubs with their own unique style. the eating was fantastic beat steak, hit rider, an excellent side of the sauteed veg and the best salat I've ever eaten (and I'm 18 stone, I don't eat salat, and I never mentioned one in a review. but this was excellent.) cracking bottle wein also. and there are some wonderful high definition photos of the best parts of some of the best women in the toilet as well. the best jubilee of all time. will be returned (on the assumption that my better half has never read the last part.)
Positive eating was quite good service was in the really good negative tabs hardly a meter apart meaning people were even closer table was sticky and needed a good clean staff not interested when asked about the distancing question very loud, so not a good experience
Exceptional burger Exceptional burger Exceptional burger, I really like the burger.......and my mate does to. He thinks it’s exceptional
Nestled in a charming corner of London, this pub offers a vibrant atmosphere with unique decor and a varied menu. Many diners praise the delicious Sunday roasts, particularly the Beef Wellington and Yorkshire puddings. Friendly and attentive staff contribute to the welcoming vibe, making special occasions memorable. However, inconsistencies in service, including billing issues and lapses in food safety, raise concerns among some patrons. Despite these setbacks, the establishment remains a popular choice for its culinary delights—just be prepared for potential service challenges. Overall, it promises great food amidst a lively ambiance, warranting another visit.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. They served raw parsnips on a roast dinner, and everything else, including the Yorkshire puddings, was overcooked. The lack of proper distancing and the rudeness of the staff were also very disappointing. Overall, we will not be returning to this establishment.
I don't even know where to start. The staff was exceptionally friendly and competent (especially the black top white waitress [of 1 September 2020] and made our anniversary dinner even more special than it already was.The atmosphere and decoration were absolutely magnificent. Very different from any place I've been in before (and I've lived in East London for a few years, and I'm so sick of 'we're different for the simple fact of being different, so we only serve fried sweet potatoes and if you don't wear a hat inside, we won't serve you the vibe, but they managed to nail the balance of the old classic English pub with their own unique style. And there are also some splendid photographs in high definition of the best parts of some of the best women in the bathroom. The best anniversary of my life. I'll be back (assuming my orange half never reads the last part.
Positive aspects of the restaurant included the quality of the food and the generally good service. However, there were some drawbacks. The tables were very close together, less than a meter apart, which made social distancing difficult. The table itself was sticky and in need of a thorough clean. When questioned about distancing measures, the staff seemed disinterested. Additionally, the restaurant was very noisy, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
This is a local bar for us, right on the street of our house and it's a great bar! The very friendly staff and the ideal place to get in, the beer was not as cold as it should have been, so the bartender asked me if I wanted to try another beer, I did it and it was great, so he changed them, no problems, no fuss, everything with a smile. All year long.
