I really enjoy the vibe of Brixton Market/Brixton Village. It's becoming more upscale, but still manages to keep some of its original charm. Bukowski fits right in with the grungy atmosphere, offering high-quality ribs and burgers. My favorite dish is the ribs, which come with a delicious dry rub and wet sauce, served with hot pickles. The coleslaw and chips make great side dishes. The ribs are available in half and... View all feedback.
What JONMCINERN dislikes about Bukowski:
tried the recently opened brixton branch, very reasonable and good value burgers, not to mention tasty, charcoal grilled and this does give it a nice flavour, however something is missing and I cant quite put my finger on what it actually is. Chips arent bad but didnt blow me away... all in all you wont be dissapointed but i dont think you will be blown away either and with honest burgers trading just around the corn... View all feedback.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was lovely. We were seated promptly and received excellent service throughout our meal. We ordered the "Fat Gringo" and the "Red and Blue" dishes, along with some skinny fries, and everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place.
I am a fan of Brixton market and Bukowski is a standout burger joint. However, I wanted to highlight the mango sorbet and tequila drink in this review. It was the perfect size for a delicious cocktail, with a sweet taste that wasn't overpowering or artificial. It was hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had. Even if you're not in the mood for a burger, I recommend stopping by Bukowski just to try this drink!

The staff is friendly as well.
I have been doing the usual list of best burgers in London but they didn't quite do it for me, then a friend took me to Bukowski: I had the Smokey Beast, it really was magnificent!! Staff also very friendly. So Kudos to Bukowski!
Nestled in the lively Shoreditch area, Bukowski Grill entices diners with its delectable burgers and outstanding triple-cooked chips. While some guests found certain burgers average or lacking in bold flavor, the iconic Fat Gringo and Smokey Beast received high praise for their juicy, well-cooked patties and fresh ingredients. The homemade condiments elevate the experience, complementing the burgers beautifully. Although the service can vary, the vibrant atmosphere and appealing decor enhance the overall dining experience. Whether enjoying an outdoor seat or a rustic interior, Bukowski Grill is a must-visit for burger lovers seeking a satisfying meal.

Bukowski is a very fantastic place where you can find delicious food. The staff here is also very good because they know the value of their customers.
I really enjoyed my burger at Bukowski. The patty was a bit small in size from a visual inspection, but it was thick and cooked nicely. It wasn't dry or overcooked, the burger remained juicy inside. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and all the ingredients worked well together. The bun was good, although I feel like brioche buns are overused in burger joints. I particularly liked the pickles and onions, they complemented the meat and cheese which was melted perfectly on the patty. The flavor of the patty was rich and it seemed like it was cooked on a charcoal grill. With a better choice of buns, this place could really be a winner.
The website for Bukowski Grill claims that their Josper Grill burger can cook quickly, and while the burger did arrive promptly, it did not quite live up to expectations. The promise of sealing in flavor was not evident, and overall, the burger was average. It was not cooked to the rareness desired, the bun was slightly dry, and the presentation seemed more important than the taste. However, the standout was the chips – they were outstanding. Thick and crispy, they were boiled three times in beef drippings. It may be worth visiting this restaurant just for the chips.
Bukowski grill has a few filials, one in brixton village, which I need to pay again one visit, and the other is in hipster shoreditch in always so trendy and quirky boxpark, the pop-up marble behind shoreditch station with dubious fashion shops and some ok and not so ok eating cans. bukowski grill or chacoal grill, as they call themselves, serves classic burgers
I read a lot about this place in websites, with all the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. I'm a huge fan of burgers to start! Which means I only get satisfied by the perfect harmony of a burger, the meat, topping, sauce and the bun. We ordered well done cheese burgers with jalapeño mustard and gherkin. The burger came oozing with red liquid, I thought it was ketchup! Then I said maybe the tomatos. But nooo, as soon as I pressed the bun the whole thing had blood over it! I STRICTLY eat my meat well done all the time. So we told her that we asked for well done burgers, she apologised and they made us new burgers. The good: They use a charcoal grill which is rare in burger places....read more
