Wondervu Gift Shop - Golden

Neat little mountain gift shop. Next door to a good restaurant.

Went for dinner tonight while on our girls trip. We sat out on their patio dining and enjoyed the view and nice weather! The food was delicious, the food is a bit pricey, but again...you're getting a beautiful view and great atmosphere. We started off with the salsa and queso and I had the combo taquitos, friend had the Kobe burger, and my other friend had the beef chimichanga. We were hoping to see all the chipmunks that like to hang out, but there weren't any this time around.

Food is very very good. Menu is great with some unique dishes. I highly recommend Eating there for quality of the food. But my goodness, it's so expensive. I live near by and would love to go there more often but I simply can't afford it. the prices are up there with higher end restaurant prices. I get that it's in the mountains and maybe it's more expensive to run the business but there are other restaurants in other canyons or mountain towns that have more reasonably priced food that is the same quality. This place is absolutely more expensive that your average mountain restaurant. The portions are huge so maybe they could be cheaper and smaller? It's always dead in there with the exception of breakfast so I'm assuming I'm not the only one who finds it too expensive. Ultimately I recommend this restaurant but only if you can afford it.

We took a scenic drive today (Nov. 24th , got hungry, stopped here at Wondervu for lunch fantastic! Great service (and friendly and delicious food (so many choices on the menu! . And their homemade salsa wonderful! Thanks so much for the great experience!

Was cute store would stop again to visit..was abit cool but looked like nice place to sit for few minutes and enjoy the mountain..
