Hands down one of the top dining experiences I’ve had. The amuse bouches were diverse in taste, texture, and presentation but all delicious. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing. The meal was a dining experience a well timed dance by the staff. Everyone was friendly and genuine. The food was divine both in taste and presentation. Of course, the drive to and the views from were spectacular. I will definitely consider returning for another special occasion meal.
The service was top notch. The food was spectacular. The views beautiful. What a great meal. Thank you all that made our anniversary something extra special. The chef signing our menus and personalizing them made it over the top cool.
A premier restaurant in our state. Multiple notches above everyone else. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Phenominal wine list. Wonderful food (menu changes daily), superior service and unbelievable views before and after sunset. You just can't go wrong!!
By the far the most overrated and overpriced dining experience I've ever had. After the free, mandatory valet, and the nice touch of a free coat check, everything went downhill. It took almost 10 minutes for our server to greet us and roughly 30 minutes to simply sit down, order one drink, and get the drink. Then we were given menus but barely anything was explained to us about how it worked. Ignored is the most descriptive word that comes to mind. We had to ask questions and flag down our server or any help even though there was more than enough staff. In essence, the entire service was purely reactive, there was no proactive actions taken in terms of anticipating guests needs or considering what we might want at any given juncture of the meal, aside from the staff who filled our waters and cleared our plates (though at times they were a bit too eager on that front). Having many years of service experience myself, it was inexcusably bad — with plenty of staff on a relatively calm evening. The meal itself was paced OK, but we had another 20 30 minute wait for dessert and, again, at no time did our server or anyone on staff explain the wait or structure of the meal where guests routinely spend $200/person. Somehow it seemed the incredibly slow pace was a feature of the restaurant's service. Just ridiculous. The food was aggressively mediocre. The foie gras and filet and lamb were cooked pretty well, but the rest of the food had the veneer of being a fancy meal and yet tasted like it should've cost $40/person, not $200/person. A wildly disappointing evening and if we didn't have a gift card, we would have walked out because of the abhorrent service and low quality food. A complete waste of money and, more importantly, time. I have no idea why this place has received such glowing reviews, but I imagine for most diners it could be the first meal they’ve had outside their own home? Hard to think of another reason.
