During our visit to Boulder, a friend who lives in the area brought us to this restaurant for brunch. It is definitely a popular establishment, and rightfully so! The food was fantastic. I opted for the egg burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially with the flavorful chili on top. Despite being very busy, we were seated promptly and received quick service. Our waitress handled the bustling atmosphere with a warm... View all feedback.
What Andie Marie doesn't like about Village Coffee Shop:
The food was typical diner food, greasy, average in taste but plentiful. The highlights: their French toast was really good and the veggie omelette had a good amount of veggies. The service was good. The downsides: it's pretty small and was very crowded, even on a weekday morning. I don't know what kind of oil they use but the hash browns tasted strange, like coconut oil. Quick quality breakfast before heading up to hike in rocky mountain national park. Breakfast was very solid. Would be a frequent go to if we lived in the area. Denver omelet was very tasty and packed with ingredients. Biscuits and gravy was also good. Hope to visit again soon and stop back in.
Everything was so delicious! A jewel of a little restaurant, definitely a must eat! Wish we had more days we’d be back!
The restaurant's motto, "890 sq. ft. of Reality Surrounded by Boulder," says it all. Another way to put it would be, "The breakfast we desired, the diner Boulder requires." The diner pancakes were perfect. We overheard a conversation at the table next to us, including, "Of course I'm going to study abroad... all my other doctors said it's fine."
My favorite diner! Always packed for a reason! Best breakfast in town! Fast, amazing value, best pancakes, real classic diner experience
During my first visit to Boulder, I searched for a breakfast spot nearby. Google recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The 5-star reviews were well-deserved. The food, service, and prices were all excellent. The omelets were filled with delicious ingredients (I tried the bacon and cheese) and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place!
