Was Eatwithmyfoodsafari at Timbah a mag?
A lovely venue to have a tipple or two served with some great bar food snacks or cheeses on offer. br/ br/ This was our third place to visit as part of The Glebe Tasting Treks. We had some Salmon Blinis to whet the appetite. We finished with a Cheeseboard and nice glasses of wine. There was a super creamy cheese on the board that was definitely a highlight for most on this food tour. br/ br/ This wine bar is defin... View all feedback.

What Zechariah Price dislikes about Timbah:
a wine cellar and a bar in the neighbourhood, which offers an extensive range of international and local weeps, timbah is a friendly and welcoming bar for gleebe residents. the prices were reasonable, but marked by a few dollars over these great super markets. I wanted to try her bar food and bought a giant back after I knew that her kitchen was only opened at 4 o'clock. it will be better that they give the cash a ca... View all feedback.

I have never tried tapas, so I was so excited when my friend said us that she treated us here for her birthday dinner. Find a bit difficult after leaving the tram, and Google Maps made it worse to find this gem, but we finally came there after going there. Although we were too late for our booking, the lady still welcomed us with the smile on her face and she was like a worried mother who was refreshing. My friend ordered all tapas on the menu and I all loved as they were good portion sizes, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. The interior of the restaurant had this intimate feeling as there were only a few seats. We've all expected that on this day knew when she renovated the live band, who renovated us renovated, which the dining experience increased a bit more. I would like to return to this place when I gave the chance.

I really want to give Timbah so much more, but despite the beautiful surroundings and the approachable wine list, the food leaves you really down. The service is friendly, informative and personal. However, you really are not missing a menu that complements your environment ... Nevertheless, we'll come back soon for a Vino.

Came here with an overseas visitor after seeing her food menu. It's more a drinking place. Interesting food menu. The salmon and the squid are really good. Good selection of wine. Very cozy and comfortable place.

Glebe isn 't my local, and I probably would have never know about this place if a friend hadn 't suggested drinks here. Four of us got a table on a Friday after work. We thought we might stay for a couple drinks and ordered some wine by the glass. I had a Pinot Noir recommend by the barman. At some stage I remember saying WHY are we doing ordering this wine by this glass? and coming back with a bottle of Rosé. Good times ensued. The share plates were tasty and fun to share (as share plates should be). I recommend starting with drinks here and then moving down the road to another small bar in Glebe to continue your night.

I am giving this place five stars for hygiene food safety. The Food Authority of NSW awarded them 5 out of 5, on 25/11/2014 as part of their scores on doors scheme. (Full list available on the City of Sydney website.
