A lovely venue to have a tipple or two served with some great bar food snacks or cheeses on offer.<br/ <br/ This was our third place to visit as part of The Glebe Tasting Treks. We had some Salmon Blinis to whet the appetite. We finished with a Cheeseboard and nice glasses of wine. There was a super creamy cheese on the board that was definitely a highlight for most on this food tour. <br/ <br/ This wine bar is definitely a great place to hang out as a great end to an evening with wine and cheese or just as a stand-alone for leisurely evening with friends or family.
Bosslady Louise is very passionate about her wine having owned the front liquor shop for 14 years so when she gave me a delicious glass of Dante Gabriel Vermentino 2015 Adelaide Hills i was in heaven. The food here is native australian inspired gathering delicious ingredients from country co-operatives. I highly recommend the Balmain bug, lobster and prawn rolls with lemon myrtle and the Salmon ceviche, finger lime, jalapeño, guacamole! If your waiter is Ashley then you will be looked after like an old friend.
Been here a few times and it’s always a such a nice experience. The food itself hasn’t been the highlight but the atmosphere and vibe is always enjoyable! Especially when there has been live music! Can’t beat good cheese, nice wine and and sounds of an acoustic guitar to start the evening or end a long day.
Glebe isn 't my local, and I probably would have never know about this place if a friend hadn 't suggested drinks here. Four of us got a table on a Friday after work. We thought we might stay for a couple drinks and ordered some wine by the glass. I had a Pinot Noir recommend by the barman. At some stage I remember saying WHY are we doing ordering this wine by this glass? and coming back with a bottle of Rosé. Good times ensued. The share plates were tasty and fun to share (as share plates should be). I recommend starting with drinks here and then moving down the road to another small bar in Glebe to continue your night.
