Ryan and his team are friendly professional and amazing. We went here for lunch and the food was fresh, wholesome and local produce used and sourced. Huge selection of wines white and red, local produce beers. Even able to hold parties here in the refurbished tram.We will be back as the menu changes with the seasons. They also have a deli section where you can buy produce like sausages made onsite, salami, jam, jellie... What Aleix Salvador doesn't like about Butcher and the Farmer:
Service: Wonderful
Atmosphere: beautiful, but cold!
Food: Simple presentation, but underwall,
Time: Dinner
Portion: Big
Bathroom: Modern and clean
Maybe the daily time menu is better. However, if you are in tramsheds for dinner, this is a secure jump.

Great taste and great service. Grief When we made the booking of 20 people, we were recommended if we have decided to do the Ala-Carte option that it could be delayed that it could get over the entire food. Usually we expect that and understood. But no delays at all. All foods were brought together and everything seemed to go smoothly. Grief Grief The waiting staff were attentive and pleasant. Grief And eating ... oh my food. Everything seemed very nice to be. The food is simple, but cooked perfectly. Sizes are a bit small for me, but we all ordered enough pages to fill our plates and go very happy. Grief The tramsheds has an amazing food option, and it's great a visit, but I will definitely be a mint and farmers again.
Service : Wonderful Atmosphere : Lovely but cold Food : Simple presentation but underwhelming Time : Dinner Portion : Large Bathroom : Modern and clean Maybe the day time menu is better. But if you're in tramsheds for dinner, this is a safe skip. *may return to try some other dishes YES: MAYBE: -Steak Tartare finely diced beef, cured egg yolk, yoghurt, mint, crisp sourdough, zaatar salad (better than the eggplant) - Eggplant tomato, basil, parmesan, mozzarella, breadcrumbs NO: - Carpaccio salmon cured, thinly sliced with fennel, orange, dill dressing (too many bones and ordinary flavor) - Wagyu Brisket smoked with potato salad and mixed piccalilli, hot mustard (slightly dry and ordinary flavor) *mustard is very hot*
I haven't been to the Tramsheds before so I was excited to check this place out for dinner. Cool ambience with a tram inside the restaurant which the kids loved. As we were dining early, no one was sitting inside but you can reserve seats inside the tram. We ordered a variety of dishes, with kids eating the salmon and chips which was mostly chips, steaks were ordered, lamb cutlets and the autumn salad. I tried grit roast of the day which was pork and it came with crackling and I chose rosemary jelly which was a nice accompaniment. Side of chips, broccoli and mixed salad was finished as well. Too full to have dessert. But I'll definitely be back to try different restaurant in the Tramshed.
I have been to this place twice and I really love coming here. I did have to take the tram to get here which is not a bad thing as when you get off the tram, Tramsheds is a few meters away. My husband and I went to this place to try it out before we decide to invite our friends here for our birthday celebration. This place did not disappoint. Their meat offerings were top of the line and I like seeing where my meat came from. It was easy to book a table here, I just used the Zomato app. The staff were pleasant and were quick to serve the food. They also have a great range of drinks to choose from. They also have a tram where diners can sit, order and eat their meals. The only negative about this place was not enough fans and aircon in the restaurant leaving us really warm and dizzy during the summer season. Would have wanted the place to install more air conditioning systems to counter the heat.
We had a nice dinner at Butcher and The Farmer. Many of the dishes are rustic and hearty, reminiscent of farmstyle eating like its name suggests. I enjoyed the tender duck Maryland braised with lentils and a deliciously unusual duck and pistachio sausage. This was a hearty and warming dish, perfect for winter. My friend had the daily lamb roast that arrived as a massive serve of ribs and a huge jacket potato. She persevered and managed to finish most of it but it could've easily fed two with some sides. The brussel sprouts with bacon was alright though I think they should've roasted it longer for more caramelisation. For dessert, we had the baked yoghurt and chocolate pudding. Neither were very memorable but the yoghurt had a slight edge. Staff were friendly and very attentive - our glasses were always topped with water.
