We had eaten here 3 years ago and had a wonderful... read more We were staying in the village at a lovely B&B and walked up the road to this hotel and restaurant for dinner. We had eaten here 3 years ago and had a wonderful meal but were informed by the B&B it was now under new ownership. As soon as we arrived the restaurant quickly filled up( there is nowhere else to eat in the village) and it soon became apparent the staff couldn't cope with the sudden influx of customers, they almost seemed to be panicking with things bring dropped, wrong orders delivered to tables and generally a feeling they were out of their depth. The menu selection was very limited so we opted for a pizza and played safe after all we were in Italy. It arrived after a long wait and was very poor. We didn't enjoy either the food or dining experience and will certainly not return here again if in the area. The 2 stars were for the staff.
