What Chloe Charbonneau doesn't like about Resto Chez Mo-Nik:
Would not recommend, asked for a western omelette and it came back burnt, the meat and veggies were all in one pile with no cheese. My potatoes were also burnt. My s/o got a « crepe » that was basically Aunt Jemima pancake mix smooshed down, and it was also burnt. Needless to say someone should keep an eye on the grill to make sure not to burn the food. Service was kinda slow. We had to pour our own coffee refills. Waited very long for the bill at end of meal (for 5 people) ... ended up going to the counter to settle up with our waitress. We will try this place again to see if slow service was a one off ... cause we really enjoyed the food View all feedback.

read moreChez Mo-Nik is a hidden gem in Gatineau offering delicious meals with outstanding service. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is fresh, tasty, and affordable, served in generous portions. The restaurant's cool decor and fast service, combined with reasonable prices and cleanliness, make it a top choice for breakfast and lunch. While some negative experiences were reported, overall, Chez Mo-Nik is a must-visit spot for delightful French American cuisine.
