1000 Curry
Description
**Discovering Culinary Peaks and Valleys: A Dining Experience**
This restaurant presents a mixed bag of experiences that highlight the challenges of consistency in Indian cuisine. While some diners rave about the vibrant flavors, excellent service, and delightful dishes like buttery naan and spicy jalfrezi, others have voiced concerns about the authenticity and quality of the food. Complaints about tough rotis, premade ingredients, and a lack of fresh preparation have surfaced, leaving some patrons disappointed. However, for those seeking gluten-free options or a warm, inviting atmosphere, the restaurant has proven to be a convenient stop worth exploring, especially with attentive staff who genuinely care about customer satisfaction.

The curry is delicious, and nearly all the dishes are gluten-free, with the exception of the desserts.
We stopped at this restaurant on our way back to Toronto for my son, who has Celiac disease. Unfortunately, there are no gluten-free food options at the ONroute stops along the highway. This place was perfect, and the food was delicious. We placed our order from the car for pickup and then got right back on the highway to continue our trip.
1000 Curry's menu is almost entirely gluten-free, with just one main dish and a few sides containing gluten. Our order was taken by the owner, Ben, who clearly understands the needs of those with celiac disease and is mindful of cross-contamination concerns. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious! Ben is evidently very passionate about his work. At the time of this review, the restaurant is undergoing renovations, so only takeout service and a picnic table on the porch are available. It seems like they'll be at least a month away from finishing the renovations, but it's definitely worth the wait!
