We found our evening meal as too high prized compared to quality. Beer and soda was was half-dead. Wait was longer than what one would expect. Fish’N Chips was good, plenty of room for improvement on the burgers. View all feedback.
My man had the thai curry and found it delicious. only spicy enough for his lust. he eats every piece of it and the portion size was not for the weak heart. I had the maple walnut salat sans brie cheese with the dressing on the side. it was again a great olsalat and the creamy maple vindict was to die. I wanted to drink it from the small container! and for dessert we had the brownie cake it was gluten-free. again we were not disappointed. service was great. the food was skurril!
We stopped by here for lunch after our cruise nearby. It was walking distance from the dock and we figured we give it a try. I ordered the grilled chicken club with poutine. I only recall trying poutine when I was younger so I figured I'd give it another try. They have Poutine as a whole order, but I was glad to see that they have it as a side option. The food entries comes with a side of your choice fries, house salad, sweet potato fries $2.99 , caesar salad $3.50 , or poutine $3.50 . The portions of the food were huge, so you definitely get your bang for your buck here. Each dish was neatly placed and was so good! The bread from the club was crunchy yet soft and the chicken was moist. The ingredient felt very fresh! The poutine was a tad salty, but I think that is how poutine is? Since it's gravy and cheese two salty ingredients . It was just the perfect amount to share with the family since we all just wanted a little bit to refresh our taste buds. My family also ordered the Chipotle Chicken Caesar Wrap with the house salad $19.99 ; Fish and Chips $19.99 , and Grilled Chicken Club with the house salad $19.99 . The chipotle chicken caesar wrap was HUGE. My mom said it was very good and that it wasn't too overpowered with all the flavors and sauces. I was able to try a bite of her house salad and was also impressed by the fresh ingredients of the salad. You can tell it is a good salad when the salt actually crunches and does not just wilt there. The Fish and Chips were pretty good according to my brother in law. Crispy, not totally too greasy and a large piece on top. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here in this small town. It had a cosy interior with very nice staff. FYI, the menu is located solely online! Reception could be a little spotty, so they have wifi for you in case you need it! Arrived at 9:45 pm on a Saturday, with our 9 year old, so they couldn't seat us, as it was bar hours. The host offered us appetizers and fish and chips and invited us to sit at the outside tables. Our family enjoyed our Irish Nachos and Fish and Chips (and a couple of beers for us grown ups). Very tasty. Extra points for accommodating us. For the record, the bar looked friendly, the music was fine and and atmosphere great.
This place is amazing, recommend any thing on the menu! Service was great! Dill pickles as an appetizer top notch.
Really great food and service! Will definitely come back again. Loved the Shrimp Brioche and the Crispy Cauliflower bites! Service was friendly, attentive and professional. Cozy chill vibes in there too!
