They serve hot popovers with strawberry whipped butter with every meal - light, crispy, buttery, and delicious! The combination platter is a great value and a perfect way to try a variety of dishes. I always choose the NY Strip Steak and Baby Back Ribs with either cherry mustard or honey mustard sauce - the ribs are incredibly tender and flavorful. The shrimp scampi and stuffed shrimp are also cooked to perfection. Their mixed drinks are strong and tasty; if you're a fan of Martinis, don't miss the Hudsontini - my personal favorite. Margaritas and Mojitos at Hudson's are also top notch. Without a doubt, the best steakhouse in the Hudson Valley!

The restaurant was mostly empty, however the servic... read more This place used to be our default for a celebration but it has truly fallen off in the last couple of years. The restaurant was mostly empty, however the service was terrible and slow. Our server was incredibly unfriendly. Our requests for water were ignored for over 35 minutes, I timed it. The food- nothing was seasoned correctly. My father in law was served the saddest looking clams, and the rest of us were served fried calamari with raw batter. Every entrée felt like we had made a mistake; the stuffed salmon was as dry as sawdust, 'crab meat ' stuffed shrimp was filled with mushy unseasoned bread crumbs in a flavorless white sauce and my husband 's steak was not cooked to his request, was served to him black and blue and was all grizzle. We would have sent 2 out of 4 entrees back, except our server never checked on us once the food was dropped off to our table. The interiors is so dark and outdated. Its sad to see a once great place fall from grace. I am more than happy to pay $300 for a meal with good food and service, this was not it. We won 't be back.
