I went here twice, for lunch one day, then and extended lunch/drinks into dinner another night. Great place to sit and people watch. Wonderful view of everything going on in the square. Lots of great choices on the menu. Great drink selections. When I was there there the wait staff were great, and super friendly.

My friend and I wanted to seat in a table with a view of piazza della signoria, but the table was for 4 peopla. The only table for 2 was in a corner at the back (very badly placed). We kindly asked the waiter if we could seat in one of the front tables (for 4 people), at first he said No and left without hearing us, we stayed until he came back and askek again (there were more tables for 4 people left, if another coulple sat on the 2 people table he would have had to place us in a 4 people table anyway), this time he was really rude and said THERE IS NO TABLE THEN. He made no effort, he practically kicked us out of the place, of course we left in front (this happened in front of everyone and he didn't care). We went to de restaurant next to this place (il David) and it had amazing service.

Attentive service because they 're used to Americans.
