Not sure why the reviews are so bad, the lady was very nice and the coffee was great. Not the greatest food but the sandwich filled me up. We originally wanted to visit Caffe Gilli next door but it was temporarily closed due to renovation ? , but then decided to check out this posh looking cafe ins... read more We originally wanted to visit Caffe Gilli next door but it was temporarily closed due to renovation ? , but then decided to check out this posh looking cafe instead; nice decor and the coffees were great; we had cappuccino, iced americano and affogato, which were all excellent, the baked apple tart we had was also nicely done, tangy and not overly sweet. The waitress was friendly and had an upbeat attitude. Overall a great afternoon treat, although a little expensive.

W... read more As an American visiting, I stopped by and this was a great bar in Florence. I ordered a Negroni and my friend got a cosmopolitan and they were both delicious. We sat next to people enjoying espressos and a live pianist on a random Saturday night and it was amazing. Julia was our talented bartender and she was funny and nice and speaks good English. It was a great experience.
