After first round it got busy. Told bartender we wanted another round. He completely ignored us for 30 minutes while we watched him make over 50 drinks for other people. Waitress finally asked if we wanted anything and I told her we’d been waiting for 2 beers and a glass of wine for 30 minutes so she put in the order for us. Completely ignored for another 15 minutes so we paid and left. Simply ridiculous! 45 minutes for 2 beers and a glass of wine and it still never came??? Inexcusable!

I celebrated my birthday here too with an impromptu birth... read more This is a most wonderful gem in Florence. We went there 4 nights on the trot, they made us so welcome. I celebrated my birthday here too with an impromptu birthday celebration put on by the staff. This just made us want to return night after night, resulting in a most unexpected fairwell from the staff on our last night. The drinks were delicious and didn't cost the earth, made by mixologists who take their work very seriously. Food here is simple and delicious and not overly complicated. Staff spoke in several languages, no request is ignored or denied. When we return to Florence we will definitely return and l am sure they might well remember us too.
