The staff is very kind and helpful, and the prices seemed fair for the area (a macchiato at the counter was €1.30). Furthermore, the decor of the place seemed very welcoming and Italian-style. We're sure we'll return on our next trip to Florence.

The prices here were at least double a... read more Turn around and head back towards Santo Spirito. We should have known better than to stray from our favorite pasticceria. The prices here were at least double and the pastry was at least two days old. Search around for better breakfast. Pasticceria, Buonamici just off Piazza del Carmine, is a 10 minute walk and fabulous!!
