Description
Here you will find the menu of Encore in Fall River. At the moment, there are 64 and drinks on the menu.
Tucked into a lakeside hotel, this cozy, multi-level eatery offers generous portions, standout seafood (notably chowder, mussels and casseroles), fresh baked bread and tempting desserts at reasonable brunch prices. Attentive staff and a warm fireplace create an inviting, relaxed atmosphere ideal for travelers and small groups. Occasional inconsistencies—lukewarm or reheated dishes, a dim bar area, and spotty kitchen training—temper what is otherwise a charming spot worth visiting for comfort food and classic seafood.

Was MYNOHTNAM at Encore a mag?
My wife and I ordered the Seafood Casseroles, and they did not disappoint. The presentation was impressive, and the speed of service, as well as the temperature and portion sizes, were all spot on. Everything was fantastic, and the ambiance was pleasantly relaxed for a Saturday night—not too busy or crowded. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the to-die-for Coconut Cream Pie. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Hal... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Encore:
I'm incredibly disappointed that the bar/restaurant in this lovely hotel is so neglected. The servers are friendly, but they must realize how subpar the food is?! The place feels dark and dingy. I paid $3.50 for a small soda water, and there wasn’t even an offer for a refill. The beef dip and calamari were terrible. I've had better chicken wings from a gas station! Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere—you'll thank m... View all feedback.
The crepe with chicken and mushrooms was enjoyable, as was the quiche paired with a salad. I would suggest the red-beet salad, but it would be better if they used chunks of beet instead of canned, sliced rounds for a more appealing presentation, which currently resembles cafeteria food. The spinach salad with chicken was decent, too. The chicken club sandwich with a baked potato was good, but the real standout of the week was their pasta marina—it was by far the best dish among everything I tried.
It's terribly disappointing that the bar/restaurant in this adorable hotel is such a let down. The servers, although friendly, must know how mediocre the food is?! It's dark and dingy in there. $3.50 for small soda water and no offer of a refill. Beef dip and calamari were nasty. I've had better chicken wings from a gas station. Venture anywhere else for dinner and you will thank me! I'm honestly shocked they can stay open, mind you it's already for limited days/hours.
The restaurant is situated at The Inn on The Lake. We made a reservation and were seated near a beautiful large fireplace, creating a lovely ambiance. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The establishment had several tables marked as closed and displayed signs promoting COVID safety protocols, which we appreciated. The cleanliness of the place was impressive. We started our meal with nachos, which were delicious and generously topped. For our main courses, we ordered fish and chips, as well as a chicken wrap with fries, both of which were excellent and larger than we anticipated. The server even offered us a takeout container for our leftovers, a thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, we were too full to enjoy dessert. This was our first time dining here, and we can't wait to return.
I decided to try the ATLANTIC BLUE MUSSELS, choosing the white wine option with a side of melted butter for $13.50. The mussels were cooked well and met my expectations, though they were fairly standard. I also sampled the BRUSCHETTA, which consisted of vine-ripened tomatoes, basil pesto, black olives, garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, and Parmesan, along with pine nuts for $9.95. It came with four pieces on baguette slices; two had melted mozzarella and two were topped with powdered Parmesan. It was decent. My friend ordered the CLASSIC CLUBHOUSE, featuring roasted turkey breast, crispy bacon, tomato, and lettuce for $15.95. None of the dishes were particularly memorable, but we didn’t have any complaints. I would return if someone wanted to come here, but it wouldn’t be my top choice since I live in Clayton Park.
Myself and 8 other people went to this restaurant to celebrate my friends 39th birthday party. We were told that they were full. Which was expected. But then they told us that the wait was over 3 hours and that we should leave and we 're not welcome to wait. They claimed we were waiting in the hallway (which is the entrance of the restaurant After they told us nothing was available we moved to the lobby to call other locations . They were extremely rude to us and made us feel terrible. We then left and went to finbars in Bedford (highly recommended The next week one of us posted on the Facebook about our experience. We were only seeking an apology only to have them call us liars and proceed to ignore our comments. Over 20 different people commented on their dissatisfaction. ALL comments were very professional and no attacks or profanity were used. Inn on the lake proceeded to delete the complaint and ban us all from posting. All they do is call anyone that posts negative comments liars and tries to make themselves look innocent. Not ONCE have they ever apologized and took responsibilities for their actions. Avoid at all costs. There food is average but it was close to where we live. UPDATE: You 'll notice that Sue has decided to comment below stating more lies. 1. She states that one of us works for a competitor. This is irrelevant as his hotel isn 't anywhere near inn on the lake. I and the other 7 people do not work for a competitor and we were all posting negative reviews 2. She complains that we used social media to trash them. In this day social media is where complaints are sent and it 's how you reply that defines your company. 3. She states that we used profanity and attacked them in the deleted facebook thread. This is incorrect, not once were they attacked or was profanity used. 4. It 's unfortunate that a business cannot take responsibility and instead decide to call it 's paying clients liars . They do this all time (check out trip advisor, yelp, facebook, and twitter .
