Was MYNOHTNAM at Encore a mag?
My wife and I ordered the Seafood Casseroles, and they did not disappoint. The presentation was impressive, and the speed of service, as well as the temperature and portion sizes, were all spot on. Everything was fantastic, and the ambiance was pleasantly relaxed for a Saturday night—not too busy or crowded. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the to-die-for Coconut Cream Pie. I'm incredibly disappointed that the bar/restaurant in this lovely hotel is so neglected. The servers are friendly, but they must realize how subpar the food is?! The place feels dark and dingy. The crepe with chicken and mushrooms was enjoyable, as was the quiche paired with a salad. I would suggest the red-beet salad, but it would be better if they used chunks of beet instead of canned, sliced rounds for a more appealing presentation, which currently resembles cafeteria food. The spinach salad with chicken was decent, too. The chicken club sandwich with a baked potato was good, but the real standout of the week was their pasta marina—it was by far the best dish among everything I tried.

It's terribly disappointing that the bar/restaurant in this adorable hotel is such a let down. The servers, although friendly, must know how mediocre the food is?! It's dark and dingy in there. $3.50 for small soda water and no offer of a refill. Beef dip and calamari were nasty. I've had better chicken wings from a gas station. Venture anywhere else for dinner and you will thank me! I'm honestly shocked they can stay open, mind you it's already for limited days/hours.

The restaurant is situated at The Inn on The Lake. We made a reservation and were seated near a beautiful large fireplace, creating a lovely ambiance. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The establishment had several tables marked as closed and displayed signs promoting COVID safety protocols, which we appreciated. The cleanliness of the place was impressive. We started our meal with nachos, which were delicious and generously topped. For our main courses, we ordered fish and chips, as well as a chicken wrap with fries, both of which were excellent and larger than we anticipated. The server even offered us a takeout container for our leftovers, a thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, we were too full to enjoy dessert. This was our first time dining here, and we can't wait to return.

We ate at this restaurant twice, both times with a group oh six and eight. we were seated in a small but comfortable dining area which provided us with privacy. Food was great, staff was attentive. Highly recommend.

The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. Perhaps they simply don't cater to travelers. We stopped for breakfast on our way to the airport, and it took a long time to get coffee. Other tables had pots of coffee, but my husband only received a cup and had to ask for refills. The coffee itself was very good, just difficult to obtain. As for the breakfast, it was quite tasty. I had the Romanian French toast, which was delightful with its cake-like bread. I requested crispy bacon and noticed some at a nearby table, but I received regular bacon instead. My husband enjoyed his bacon and said it had great flavor. We'll have to search for a place that offers both good food and good service next time. Our total bill was $35, and we gave the waitress $50 but didn't receive any change. We waited a while for the change, but my husband didn’t feel comfortable asking for it.

Here for lunch on sunny Monday in March. We arrived at noon and the place was more than half full. When you enter, there is a main dining area with seating for groups, a few cozy cabins in small corners, another private room and a few tables a few steps to the left. We sat on a window in the corner of this raised section. Nicely decorated, but simple atmosphere. Friendly service. I tried the ATLANTIC BLUE MUSSELS (your choice: white wine, onion, garlic and estragon or tomato basil. $13 50). I have the white wine with the side of the melted butter. They were well cooked, standard overall. I also tried BRUSCHETTA (Vine ripe tomatoes, basil Pesto, black olives, garlic, olive oil, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Contains pine nuts. $9.95). Four pieces on Baguette slices, two had melted Mozzarella, two pieces had powdered Parm. Not bad. My friend had the CLASSIC CLUBHOUSE (Roasted turkey breast, crispy bacon, tomatoes, salad $15.95). Nothing strange about any of the courts, but no complaints. I'd go back here if someone wanted to go, but I probably wouldn't feel like I was living in Clayton Park.

Found at the charming Inn on the Lake in Fall River, en route to the airport, Encore is a cozy restaurant that has much more character than you 'd expect for anything falling under the unfortunate banner of 'hotel restaurants '. Its multiple levels within the small space makes for a more intimate feel when you land in your own personal corner and on a nice day, the views of the lake would be spectacular. Our visit today was for a nice brunch which was served from 11-2. The one-page menu had plenty to choose from (Eggs Benny, fishcakes, a gorgeous skillet and omelets) and was really reasonably priced. Our four-person meal came out at $56 which I 've easily spent on just two brunch plates before. A quick glance at the rest of the menu showed the higher prices that you 'd expect of a place like this although there were SO many options to choose from including a full page highlighting their many gluten-free dishes. The fishcakes and skillet dish (The Farmer) were complete standouts from the table but unfortunately the Eggs Benny were a bit of a let down. The plate seems to have been either popped back in the oven after it was made, or put under an overzealous heat lamp that left the Hollandaise brown on the top and solidified throughout-a crime against my strong brunching beliefs. Still, we felt good about the price, we still cleared out plates, and we felt good about Encore as a great option to fuel up before a day of air travel.

I decided to try the ATLANTIC BLUE MUSSELS, choosing the white wine option with a side of melted butter for $13.50. The mussels were cooked well and met my expectations, though they were fairly standard. I also sampled the BRUSCHETTA, which consisted of vine-ripened tomatoes, basil pesto, black olives, garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, and Parmesan, along with pine nuts for $9.95. It came with four pieces on baguette slices; two had melted mozzarella and two were topped with powdered Parmesan. It was decent. My friend ordered the CLASSIC CLUBHOUSE, featuring roasted turkey breast, crispy bacon, tomato, and lettuce for $15.95. None of the dishes were particularly memorable, but we didn’t have any complaints. I would return if someone wanted to come here, but it wouldn’t be my top choice since I live in Clayton Park.
