The service is attentive, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. The restaurant also features unique sashimi options and special sushi items sourced from Hokkaido. While reservations are recommended, bar seating is available for those lucky enough to snag a spot. Overall, Sankai provides a top-notch dining experience with high-quality ingredients and superb flavors.
If you are new to SanKai, order Omikase or Chef’s choice. Can't go wrong.
Consistently good sushi in downtown Edmonds. We were here a few times and had a good meal each time.
Sankai serves ridiculously fresh, beautifully prepared sushi. We have booked one of the topics and received incredible service from the entire staff. I can't expect to return with more family and friends.

We tried several unusual sashimi items and loved them all. Be adventurous and try the sea urchin, both kinds of octopus, squid, and eel. You’ll be glad you did — Dessert was an added bonus to a wonderful evening for the four of us.
