What Daphnee Satterfield doesn't like about Anthony's Homeport:
Gotta say I’m pretty much over Anthony’s. The best part is the view. Expensive for average food. With so many other great options to choose from, this place needs some help. View all feedback.
This food was mediocre. At best. Asked the waiter what the northwest muscles were since didn't say what was in it. He told me it was normal wine and cream. It was very wine e tasting making it bitterish and no cream. He brought us 2 pieces of bread before receiving the dish. He was ablut to leave but we had to ask for bread for dipping. It didn't taste great but ok enough. I've made so much better at home. He only had 5 tables but he wasn't attentive didn't see him for 5 minutes so I could request a new batch. Got the Mahi Mahi tacos. Wouldn't recommend at all. Small and tasteless. It didnt really have a creme sauce on it at all. Tried to get the waiter. No luck. Given small amount of salsa for the tortilla chips. I tried to ask for more but couldn't get our server. Our server tyler adam or Adam Tyler never filled my moms tea up our waters once. He was unatentive and seemed like he was new and overwhelmed by 5 tables. My mom enjoyed her food but it was a fish with potatoes and a few pieces of Broccoli. Bot worth the . I learned my lesson. This use to be good but sadly It's gone down hill. Server didn't even ask my mom if she wanted to take her fish home. Amateur hour. Brought the check before asling for desert. Hid it behind his back and weirdly asked if we wanted desert. Thursday night at 530 and sunny. There was no one there. Now I know why.
This tiny piece of chicken meat costs $14. A bunch of lettuce leaves costs $9 plus. They call it Caesar salad. Total $23. Rude!
We got hot food, but the server was missing for a while, and our water glasses ran dry.I have to wonder how clean the place really is as you can see built up dirt, grime, human oil on the seats, cushions, wood seat backs as the place clearly has not been cleaned in a long time.I sat at my table with my family looking at the bar and the wood seat back behind my wife and thought, how hard is it to wipe down with cleaner the seats, wash the removable cushions as well as wipe the menus and food items like ketchup as the bottle was dirty and sticky, I would have liked ketchup with my fries, but the bottle was dirty.Overall, I would not go back.
While other restaurants have raised their prices, Beach Cafe has not. And the quality of food we all said was better than ever. Wonderful pleasant service, all the staff reaching out to help with friendliness.
Had to wait to get a table. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids. Waitress said she couldn't have the kitchen cut a burger in half for our kids. I asked to taste a couple of beers before I decided. When the waitress came around to bring the two beer samples in question she just bailed and didn't ask which I preferred. Never ordered a beer (which is fine, they weren't great). Appetizers never came until rest of food came. The place felt understaffed and the employees looked overwhelmed. Just in that moment I look behind me and see the table who got seated after us eating.. (we never got our appetizer and we left without eating). We haven't been here in a couple years and wish we had just went somewhere else.
