I visited for the first time today and had a hard time choosing what to order. They kindly offered to prepare a combo plate with ribs and pork, which isn’t listed on the menu. I've been to many BBQ spots, including some in Kansas City and Texas, and I can confidently say that Fat Pig BBQ in Edmonds stands toe to toe with the best of them. The meat was incredibly flavorful and juicy. This place will definitely be my go-to BBQ spot! Oh, and the prices are very reasonable too!
Stopped in on a rainy day to enjoy some yummy pork ribs. We enjoyed visiting with the very friendly owner and learning more about how he makes his BBQ. The meat is delicately flavored and not too smoky. We don't get a lot of pork BBQ in Houston so we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Two thumbs up!
If you live near Edmonds, Lynnwood or Perrinville, this is a big new jewel. Just went for the second time, and the prices for a dinner combo are absurd (in a good way): BOTH the big chicken or rib combo, served with baked beans, Coleslaw, corn and two dinner rolls (based soft, sweet hamburger rolls) are just $12,50 apiece! The ribbed comb comes with four ribs, and the chicken comb says it's a 1/4 chicken, but it's A TON. Super sweet couple that leads the place, HIGHLY recommended.
Aggie's BBQ is a family-owned company Restraunt just from 76th and Perrinville. The food was heavenly, and the sauce was to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the best night with delicious herb and ribs. If you don't have a real south kitchen, or if you have it, and you miss it, so it was meant. I can't say good enough.
Oh, my... The food was divine. They were not salty or spicy. Instead of back fat, they must use a smoked hamhock that gives them a slightly smoky and slightly salty taste. Creole beans are great! You have a little hot link, a nice surprise. The ribs are incredible. The sauce is sweet and tangie with a mild kick, most barbeque sauces are either tangie or sweet. That's really nice. The sweet potato cake is really good. Creamy, nutmeg, beautiful crust. The Pecan Pie is not a galinic goo with some nuts above. It's not cute, really nice. It was a trip down memory track, can't wait to go back.
