Contribute Feedback190 Sunset offers a mixed experience for diners. Some express frustration over the lack of reservations on Sundays, resulting in long wait times and disappointing service. The food quality is inconsistent, with some dishes being well-prepared while others are subpar. Despite these issues, the atmosphere is generally pleasant, with friendly staff and good live entertainment. The brussel sprouts receive high praise, as does the seafood boil. Overall, opinions on the restaurant are varied, with some diners expressing a desire to return while others vow not to.
So my wife and I were at 190 Sunset for dinner tonight...Rethinking of us are Picky-Esser... we had fantastic appetizers crabcake and lobster Mac and cheese. Both were so good. For our main thing, she ordered Scallop Risotto to eat fantastic... one of our favorite things and she felt that it was the best she had eaten.... I ordered the Chicken Parm, I couldn't decide that I felt it was a safe bet... I got it and I just didn't like it... Server came by and he offered me something else... While in my new order my wife and I talked to us about how it tasted and the sauce was runny. The server immediately returned and told me my Halibut would be just a minute and apologised that they tasted the chicken parmesan in their back and realized that they had not left the pasta well enough so that it was the Sauce runny and bland... I got my halibut, it was crazy good... she gave us free dessert and it was also incredible (beignets and chocolate mousse cakes) I can tell you that my wife and I will definitely tell our friends and we will definitely return... also, order the chicken parm after the received service, the court I received is not indicative of what they serve...
My new favorite dish at Sunset 190 is the Chicken Parmesan Linguine! The sauce and noodles are delicious and melt in your mouth. The Moscow Mule with ginger is also wonderful. We started with the amazing crab cakes and saved room for the tasty cheesecake dessert. I recommend going with a group so everyone can try different dishes - you'll leave with a new favorite! Sunset 190 is a must-try!
From time to time we were satisfied. Food, service and quality were at the point. We recommend 190 Sunset and come back. If you go to a restaurant and the hostess are friendly and sit right away, you know it will be a great night! Thanks from the Stancik Groves family.
The best happy hour, the best brunch, the best bartenders. I love going to this place when I can take different people to try it with me.
The food, staff, owner (Tom who stopped by to chat and check on us), bartender (Niles who came to figure out exactly what I was wanting and then delivered amazingly), and the chef and kitchen staff who put out some incredible food that far exceeded our hopes were all amazing. If there are scallops anywhere on the menu, get them.. OMG good. And the Caesar salad with bacon was incredible. This is now my new favorite restaurant in all of greater Seattle!
