What an amazing place. We booked to go to Timberyard as part of our honeymoon in Scotland after a colleague recommended it to me. So glad we went! The staff were all briefed and each congratulated us, and they also treated us to a glass of champagne each (delicious! . We went for the full tasting menu, and the additional cheese course, and could not fault a thing. All the dishes were so creative and there were so many combinations where it shouldn’t work, but does! We also really liked seeing the ingredients on the tray that was brought around. Truly such an enjoyable experience. The service from start to finish was faultless. We didn’t have to ask for anything or try to get anybody’s attention, but equally they were attentive without being annoying. We will be back!

Staff were extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining every dish. Really appreciate our server for providing a tour of the restaurant after we were done with our meal.
