What Archie Saunders doesn't like about Holyrood 9a:
We loved this place!. We loved the burgers here so much that we came twice during our 4 day visit to Edinburgh. If we had tried this place sooner during our visit, we may have visited a few more times. They have a good selection of delicious burgers (i.e., with different toppings) and we would've liked to try them all if we had had the chance! We definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for a good burger... View all feedback.

Dinner was excellent. Best burger we had in Scotland. The dessert was fantastic. We all shared the Banofee Pie and Sticky toffee pudding. Delicious! Also a nice laid back atmosphere. They also had a few good options for Non-Alcoholic beers.
Food was okay. Some interesting options with haggis, a veggie haggis burger, and haggis balls. The beer flight was good. I was able to put cider in my flight too. The bartender was really nice and helpful in letting me try lots of different things on tap before I settled on my flight. I liked the ambiance and vibe.
Really lovely find, we walked in with no reservation but there was plenty of space. They are really dog friendly, our pooch was greeted with a little tray of gravy bones and a bowl of fresh water, which was a nice touch! The food was fresh, tasty and served quickly, we had the nachos and halloumi salad and couldn't fault either!
This is nice pub in Edinburgh's old town. It has a dark decor featuring wood panelling. There's a good selection of craft beers and real ales. We were a bit puzzled at first as the bar didn't appear to have any fonts! Unusually they are on the wall behind the bar. The main food offered are gourmet burgers my group had several different choices and were all happy with them. Table service is offered and the staff were all friendly.
