Was Teagan Collins at Timberyard a mag?
Up there with the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Had an incredible experience from start to finish. The wine list is enormous (32 pages?! and the sommelier was so helpful in giving much needed advice as to what to order. Food was delicious, I was very well catered for as a vegetarian and my friend being coeliac. Beautiful layout and very relaxed. Can’t recommend enough for a special occasion. View all feedback.
What Paula Campbell dislikes about Timberyard:
Scallop was amazing. Best scallop dishes ever.! But other menus were wee disappointed. There are more better taste and cost-efficient restaurants in Edinburgh. Parts of this restaurant may be not worth. View all feedback.

Unbelievably good meal, the best I’ve had in a long time. Timberyard pairs excellent food with a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend!
Excellent service, excellent food. Made my vegetarian dishes to perfection. The restaurant has great ambience. The whole experience was delightful.
Wow! What an amazing place. We booked to go to Timberyard as part of our honeymoon in Scotland after a colleague recommended it to me. So glad we went! The staff were all briefed and each congratulated us, and they also treated us to a glass of champagne each (delicious! . We went for the full tasting menu, and the additional cheese course, and could not fault a thing. All the dishes were so creative and there were so many combinations where it shouldn’t work, but does! We also really liked seeing the ingredients on the tray that was brought around. Truly such an enjoyable experience. The service from start to finish was faultless. We didn’t have to ask for anything or try to get anybody’s attention, but equally they were attentive without being annoying. We will be back!
Restaurant chosen by a couple of friends for their wedding, exceptional food, excellent choice of wines, essential classy environment, highly recommended

There is something about certain restaurants that only scream art and a deep love to local ingredients. and timberyard in edinburgh, Scotland is no.
Tasting menus only so it is best made with the paired wine. the portions are small, but this works everywhere on the planet.
Poor & disappionting in terms of fine dining for the price A nice place visibly, where thought has clearly been put into creating a trendy ambiance.
What a wonderful addition to the Edinburgh dining scene! Came here with my husband for his birthday and the evening was lovely all around. We ordered the

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I choose the 6 course lunch with pairings. The layers of flavors and texture in each dish were perfection.

Amazing experience. Very unique menu really highlighting local and foraged produce and animals. Great drinks highlighting an in-house fermentation program. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining every dish. Really appreciate our server for providing a tour of the restaurant after we were done with our meal. The bathroom is worth experiencing. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A lovely fine dining venue, in Edinburghs historical center, that uses locally sourced ingredients for its very creative and delicious dishes, with very friendly and helpful staff, in a very nice atmosphere, located literally in a former timberyard. A top culinary experience we are certainly going to repeat! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A really nice place, a kind of stylish but also rustic. And the food is really delicious, the lunch menu allows a selection of various options. Especiallly the starter (lion‘s mane) and the dessert made me happy. A really nice fine dining option in Edinburgh. Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
