Feedback
Reviews praise Tower’s views, seafood, wine and attentive service; note higher prices, occasional seating without a castle view and room to expand vegetarian options.
There was some good and unfortunately, not so good with our meal. Everything would of been better if we had good service, but it was awful. I just don’t think our waitress cared or she was completely disinterested in making a pleasant experience for us. We started with the oysters and they were very good. For the main dishes, the sea bass and cod with chorizo were also very good. Everything was just mediocre, and for the price it should of been outstanding. We had gone for the view of the castle, but we were seated in an area that you couldn’t see the castle, so we were bummed about that too. We won’t go back.
Our dining experience had both positive and negative aspects. The meal would have been greatly improved with better service, however, unfortunately it was subpar. Our waitress appeared to be disinterested and did not provide attentive service. The oysters we started with were enjoyable, as were the sea bass and cod with chorizo for our main dishes. Overall, the quality of the food was satisfactory, but given the price, we expected excellence. We chose the restaurant for its view of the castle, but were seated in an area where we could not see it, which was disappointing. Due to these factors, we will not be returning to this establishment.

Tower’s compact, carefully chosen wine list hides some real gems — reviewers have noted aged Burgundies and mature clarets among the bottles — and the kitchen is known for signature plates like salmon prepared three ways and a standout Boeuf Bourguignon, making it a favorite for celebratory return visits.
