Feedback
Reviews praise Rojava’s grilled meats, hummus and desserts but note occasional slow or inconsistent service and variable delivery experiences.
Highly recommend getting the Rojava King Mixed Grill platter for 2 people. The sauces are delicious with a balance of a light spicy kick and a creamy, cooling sauce that works well with all the meats. Especially impressed by the crispy chicken wings, well seasoned lamb Schwarma and lamb kebabs. Great service but be patient as food is freshly prepared to order.
Great food and accommodated our late arrival. Appetizers and bread were perfect starters and mixed grill meats were perfectly cooked.
This place was an amazing find. We were staying in the West end and not feeling like a other upscale and long dining experience. We absolutely love middle eastern food and eat it reguarly. Rojava was better than many many many other restaurants we've been to. The hummus was tasty, naan was hot and yummy. The BBQ sampler: all meats were tender and tasty. My favorites were the lamb and then the kofta. And bulgar was surprisingly good. I say that because I've had not great experiences to the point that I usually just ask restaurants to give me rice only but decided to take a chance. Really tasty and fluffy and not at all Al dente which is what I've had in the past. Great value, excellent food.
We ordered a large meze sampling as a delivery to our rental apartment from this restaurant while visiting Edinburgh. The food was ok but a bit disappointing, compared to some tastier experiences e.g. in London. The lowest point was the olive meze, which was just plain green olives (without any seasoning, herbs or alike) tossed into a container, and that for £3. I probably would not use them again as there are other Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurants in the city that also deliver.
